Daily Drawing Challenge: Notice

The Daily Drawing Challenge will no longer be a monthly event. Instead we will be doing the DDC in conjunction with the international drawing month hosted by The Big Draw. This will be an month long daily drawing challenge where every day you will be given a challenge to draw. The rules will be the same and every drawing you submit will be a ballot to win cool prizes at the end of the month. These challenges will push your imagination and flex your drawing muscles but most of all it is a fun way to draw and socialize with other people in your community. This is open to people of all skill levels. Your submissions can be stick figures or Davinci level paintings. We hope to see all of your art!

Rules:

1. Absolutely no erasers or rulers. This is not a contest so don’t try to force it to be perfect. My art teacher told me that, “A true artist makes their mistakes a part of their work instead of covering them up” so don’t be afraid of a wobbly line now and then!

2. Most importantly, HAVE FUN! This challenge is an excuse to draw everyday so take advantage of that. Interpret the challenges in interesting ways.  This is a chance for you to work out your drawing muscles, it doesn’t matter if they are rusty or well oiled, anything goes. In fact some challenges will be set up so with the intention of creating a wonky looking drawing. The main goal is to have fun!

To submit your images, take a picture of it using Instagram or Twitter with the day/challenge you chose and tag it as #CBUAGDrawingChallenge, or you can email your picture with the challenge you chose to  cbuag_collections@hotmail.com.

Date:

October 1st – 31st 2015

*any images submitted that do not fit the challenge will still be accepted under Community Artwork.
We have the right to decline any profane or inappropriate submissions.
